We are on a mission to inspire little readers and share the passion of reading with all our families. Latest research from the National Literacy Trust showed fewer than half (45.9%) of parents said they read with their child daily, falling 9.1% since 2024 and 30.6% since 2019. So to encourage reading together we have placed boxes of books around Oxted and Limpsfield for everyone to enjoy and read together. So next time you are in Starbucks or Kiwi Coffee House, you can grab one of our books and read together. There are also boxes in the Limpsfield Tennis Club, St Peter’s Church and Playhouse and you can help yourself to books from the Panda Library outside our nursery.
