Panda Nursery would like to say a big thank you to Sam Gyimah. They were delighted that the Surrey MP and Under-Secretary of State for Childcare and Education, took time out of his busy schedule to pop in and meet the children and staff at Panda Nursery in Limpsfield, on Friday 6 November 2015.

He met children from both their Explorer group (2-3 year olds) and Adventurers (3-5 year olds) who gave him a card and firework picture that they had been busy making during the week.

Ali Thompson, Director of Panda Nursery said, “we feel privileged to have had the opportunity to talk to him directly about what it’s really like in a nursery, particularly a put-a-way setting. It was great to share views about the funding rate review, introduction of the 30 hours funding and developing nurseries around a qualified, high quality workforce”.

Sam Gyimah MP said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Panda Nursery, and meeting all the fantastic staff who provide such a valuable service for local families. It was great to spend time talking with the children, and I was very impressed by their art work. We need more nurseries like Panda in Tandridge.”
